Yep, it's named after one of the magic swords in Eragon.

That said, creative use of sections to make the spikes. I like the design with wings better, because it looks less like some sort of flaming carrot. I agree with you about the big pieces though, because I personally don't like grotesquely enlarged pieces.

You all be right, it is from Eragon. Bright red in colour, it means Misery in the Ancient Language of the Inheritance Trilogy.

Weapons and modules when I get around to it. I'm thinking of using a form of Danny's multiple booster to get the blood-red effect. Still don't know whether it will be mainly Beamer or Projectile, or a combination of the both.

Yeah, I think I'll be fixing the scaling on the outside parts. The rest of the ship is actually more or less unscaled D=

And the third book is to be pusblished the 23rd of... November? 2008. Also, there's gonna be a fourth book =P.

I just don't ok? I frankly think they make ships look uglier then then they should be but thats jut in my honest opinion.

Angular and smooth is the way to go for me. Frankly, I see spikes on a ship as more places for me to target my turrets.

I love your ship tho, it looks... deadly. Even without weapons.

Methinks Black Mage would just rain fiery death from the sky instead of using pitchforks...that or invent a spell that kills people by droping castles from the sky at them
