A part of my Core Legion Fleet

Arc Welder:

Venom (Standard):

Venom (Sprayer):

Wolf:

Non spider:

Ice Battle-Cruiser:

Any opinions?

Here's one: try and switch to SWA sprites, they're much better. Also, don't zoom in unless the ship is so freakishly tiny. Go back to normal zoom by pressing "Home."

SWA sprites, or TSW sprites, not Anna sprites Anna has had nothing to do with them besides build ships. =|

I don't like them new sprites... I think they ruin the "Retro" feel of the game so i not planning on using them at all.

The Arc Welder seems to exist out of randomly combined sections, but still looks fine. It definitely doesn't look like a spider.
The 'paws' of your Venom classes just don't look correct, so you should change the front or the back paws or both.
The depthing of the Wolf and the Ice Battle-Cruiser doesn't seem to match the colors.
I hope you have insurance, because your coloring burnt my eyes.
As for the rest, I like the Wolf.

What colours would you suggest?

Aren't all ships made out of of seeming "Random" pieces? (doesn't really help me out here mate)

What would you suggest for the venom "paws"? i had quite a bit of trouble making the legs on that one.

I didn't say your coloring is bad, Spider-venom is meant to burn eyes, isn't it? (I already had a log in my eye, so a little bit of venom wouldn't make such a difference) But you should deffinitely use other colors on your non-spider ships, because purple makes them look worse than they are, try grayscales for depthing first and then use some other fleet-specific color.

I would suggest changing the end sections from the front "paws" or the back "paws", because the sections are a bit simple and exactly the same at the front and the back.
At the Wolf, this doesn't matter because the ship is bigger.
