Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

I like the graveyard idea.

*it is recomended that you read the topic It Comes before/after reading this*
Commadore Angel looked out over the starbase. Whatever that huge thing was, it just left to go do something.
"Sir, Massive energy readings coming from the direction that they had left!"
Most starbases would not of had the sensors for that kind of readings, but being the top starbase producer in the centauri-sol empire, they had readings of nearly anything in a massive radius.

"Sir, the Horatio Nelson just reported something to its fleet!"

Then the voice of the horatio Nelson's captain came on:"-ot sure if we hurt it or not. It see-" A breif moment of static came through. "-nd its weapon power is not like anything we've seen from the IVL. Any gr-" And static continued until the transmission was terminated.

The commodore spoke up. "looks like we need to pick sides."

Some time after, The commodore left with the 13th forward squadron to apperently "do somthing that must finally be done."

"Cmmodore, This place is full of wrecks!" the leutenant said as they passed by anothe chunk of some old ship. What are we doing here?"

But before the commodore answered, they saw it.

It was later told to be alein technology that the commodore had discovered on one of his solo missions.

"Bring us in to dock with it."
The future of NTO reaserch was about to take a vey wide turn.

While in the main menu, go to options, there should be some color changing options there.

Select a section, right click, change color. You'll need to have set different shades in game before you'll notice a difference in shipmaker though.

Note that there doesn't appear to be a way to force your ship to appear different colors - other than the base 4 - if someone else (with default colors) downloads & loads your ship.

Heh heh heh...

Edit:
Today the terran order has finally came to bear on other nations around it, and will be putting most of it's reasources into military starbase and shipbuilding.

For many, many years, the New Terran order has stayed an economical superpower, and has been the galaxies richest empire for many years.

Lacking almost any military divisions of government until now, it has kept peace with other nations by being the number one seller of metals used for ship construction, what that means is that now, it has the ultimate upperhand to use against the surrounding empires, by cutting off all trade to them.Today, the price of titanium alloy rose 500 credits a ton.

The many advanced shipyards of of the NTO are very quickly creating many smallish starbases to use to completly guard the border. For the next 5 stardates, they are aloowing refugees to enter through the soon to be cristend Hell's Gates, a massive starbase center on the border that works quite like a customs base.

On the border of IVL and NTO territory, a small scouting party was sent to investigate one of the most advanced sections of NTO border blockades:The lionus strip. They had it planned well, for this was the perfect place for IVL to attack, in very undefended space. But now, the lionus strip is actually advancing via some type of superadvanced alein teleportation technology.

But before they could get a reading on it, a massive barrage vaporized the scouting fleet.

*Empress Elizabeth Brewster the 4th walks into her cabinet office with a worried look on her face. She faces her cabinet and lays down a stack of reports on the table*

E - "Whats this I hear of the NTO increasing prices on titanium alloy?"

"Why Empress they've discovered some sort of advanced alien tech and salvaged it for their own. It seems to put them on par Military-wise with the rest of the star powers. They seem to be getting a bit .... cocky to say the least."

E - "Well then, we stop buying from them"

*Everyone stares in amazement*

"You know of what you speak Empress?"

*Elizabeth smiles*

E- "Of course, we won the battle with the Novus Paradigm at "Hells kitchen"'

*Everyone stares again*

"you mean ........"

E - "yes, we have one of the riches sources of titanium alloy in this sector of the galaxy. We can go independent.
War may be inevitable, but we are ready should bloodshed choose to come. We are our own force now."
