Damn Blackhart, this is really excellent. I absolutely love spaced armor plates over substructure, and you've done it so well.

More contrast on the depth shading would improve the look.

You guys are rehashing stuff I learnt half a year back. My super-glowy ships (well, mostly that "mecha peacock" which is the most extreme venture into that look) are all from 5-6 months ago. And yeah, there's reasons I started toning it down.

The Scarab in my corporation thread is the Blackrockized version of that ship. You can download it there, too.

The ship isn't that bad, but why have you shaded it inside-out?

There isn't really much to say about this. It's hard to be interested in stuff that looks like it was necroed from 2007 when you haven't even done anything exceptional. Try some other sprites and look at a color wheel.
