Re: Returning to BSF
THE ZOO OM AAA RGH Not bad, saturation is a bit high on them. The Shamhim's rear seems to be on a different depth level than the semicircles attached to them. While the ship has semi-organic grooves, there's just that giant line down the middle that bisects it. Same for the Khaskhim, apply somethin...

Re: Reviving the Community
But seriously though, I'm a little saddened by this and that no one else seems particularly outraged about this, cause it's pretty (really super) fucking retarded. Four months and neither party's gotten over shit on the internet? Jesus... From where i've came from, half a year isn't that bad... The...

Re: Some Ships Made by a Sortov Newbie ! Critism Accepted
You've got some potential in shape design, as they're not all flying triangles/diamonds. There's little bits and pieces of well done areas, but you need to work on your section depthing. Case point: the topmost ship. On the frontal side pods, the outer triangle sections are over the central rectangu...

Re: Having a heavy problem with BSF
I've dabbled with GM a few times, and I *think* I know where the problem may originate. It's kinda hard to explain, but can you try downloading this fully installed version to your computer and see if it works? Here's the link: http://filesmelt.com/dl/BSF_Duplicate.zip Along with that, are you runni...

Not perfectly vertical, and it's a lego rendition, but I hope this shot helps. The Starcraft 2 Website has 3-D models you can fiddle with if you want to do more fanships. As for the current and lego variations, the front deck area needs to be significantly thicker. You can try emulating the it's gl...

Re: Omagah.
Thanks for the replies, guys :) . all the pretty blue...I really like some of the section work, especially the bits to either side of the middle. Actually what I'd add would be some glows(spotlights around weapons, launch bays, etc or something like that) just to give it a better sense of de...

Nice fighter there, I really ought to go and pick up the new section pack...
It need more grey highlighting, near the front, however.

Re: TTC (Transcendency Trading Corporation) New ships! WIP
The shape is nothing too particularly interesting. Sectionwork isn't a jumbled, heaped mess, so credits for that. As Icy said, desaturate the dark blue near the front. Try placing a single sprite near the core/centerline, and work your way around it, it helps with the overall organization and cohere...

Re: The Scrapheap
"Levant" Battlecruiser. And no, sorry, it's not hot flaming pink. It just turned out really meh, even after coloring it. The centerline seems... salvageable. Contains (un)healthy doses of Kae DST, and other Kaelis sprites. http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/2102/smscreen013.png I still hat...
