Re: Weapons not appearing bug

Have you depthed the weapons using 'w' and then mirrored them? SM doesn't like that, try deleting the problem weapons, undepthing the weapons that you're mirroring to the other side and the depth them all individually.

Re: Anna's Shiny Ships - New Stuff Added

Now that's just luscious. Dunno how I never noticed the those parts at the start of the big get-the-hell-outta-my-way laser formed a ring structure, may use that on a massive engine one day. I love the dst sprites behind the centre, does look like a generator with lots of coils. Out of curiosity, ar...

Definately a good idea, and the categories seem solid. Would be up for submitting something into this, haven't played with stock for a while could be fun.

Just so you know I haven't given up on this after making a whole new thread for it, various stages of WIP's. http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz13/Rugdumph/SMscreen0169.png http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz13/Rugdumph/SMscreen0182.png http://i809.photobucket.com/albums/zz13/Rugdumph/SMscreen01...

Re: Grrrr question...

Open shipmaker, open the 'tools' tab, click on 'group arrange'. Drag and drop the sprites you want down their folder into the 4 groups and there you go. Oh then press Esc to get out of it and open tools tab again and click 'Save ini file'.

Re: Ostensibly Cool Transforming Ship

Very cool, love the huge missiles and the lasers. Hmm, i'd say a triggered alpha fade for the six lights and the lens glare, and 0 turning turrets driving the lens glare pieces? I'm most likely wrong, still not mastered anything good out of driving and triggers myself. Only thing that bugs me is the...

Old Green Modular Fleet

Right, about time I did something on here again. Looking back over my old thread I realised currently I've been getting worse as a shipbuilder rather than better, especially looking at new things I haven't posted up. So I decided to go back to something which I really enjoyed making and got some of ...

Re: Workbee & Co - Wreckerbee and Minibee Downloads On Page

In my opinion that asteroid is an epic touch. Very well implemented, doesn't look like it was just slapped on there. I particularly like the scaffold going round the bottom right side of it. My eyes are straining to find something to critique as well as praise...

Re: Workbee & Co - Warbee Download On Page 3

Minibee is sweet, very well done for such a small scale. The wreckerbee is possibly perfection, the arm movements are just so well done and have a good range of movement, like how the laser arms can kind of fire over the other 'shoulder', and the grav beams are a nice touch. And on the whole series ...

They are fantastic. Did you fully self sprite them or did you use some source images? Either way brilliant work!

Re: Workbee & Co - Warbee Download On Page 3

Now that wreckerbee is a great progression of the work bee! Two knitpicks, the big claws on the small arms seem, well to be not quite connected, unless the 'wrists' are just tiny, and the parts sticking out beside the strafing engines, not really a knitpick cause strangely i find them suiting the de...

Re: The Workbee

That is honestly brilliant! With the large arms moving as well it looks much better. You have got the range of motion for all four of the arms spot on too, also helped by that it's just a really nice little ship. Good work, it's encouraged me to try something more than just using drivers to make cra...
