I have to say most of these ships aren't exactly top notch. I am, however, eager to see more of the black and blue fleet. The sample you posted could use a bit more depthing but otherwise it's quite decent. More I say!

I'm guessing you tried to build the Alliance cruiser? If not, that is a very poor Normandy. The corvette is OMGCYOOT though.

Valdores are indeed tricky, they sucked at a large scale so I can only imagine how difficult they are to get right with just a few sections.
Anyhow, is there any chance of a preliminary DL? I'm interested in seeing the mechanics of these little goodies.

Metagame custom content isn't all that new anymore, since the metagame was a while ago. Most if not all of the things in there can simply be found in the Custom Content archive, or in the metagame DL's.

What he means is recoloring them in the ShipMaker. You do realize you can give any sprite on your ship a custom colour, right? I recommend doing exactly as calvin said. Otherwise, the second ship is actually fairly decent, it just needs a good colorscheme. The first one is...odd. I don't really like...

ADM: editing a .ini in notepad will take at least 10 times as long, that is IF you've memorized all the sprite names. Which you haven't.
