There's quite a few relatively balanced ships out there, so its not like every ship around here has 300 megabeamers or something. Although it is human nature to want to make things bigger and more powerful

Your "patrol craft" are destroyer-sized. Tethys also happens to be a name already taken by a canon patrol craft (with demeter drones to boot). Otherwise, these ships are looking very nice. The Persephone and Tethys are my favourites of the bunch.
