That's a ridiculous amount of deflectors. Damn right it's got a lot of deflectors! Honestly though, you can divide that number in half due to the ablative armor. The spiny nature of the ship also means that a lot of pieces are exposed, and thus more deflectors are needed. It's really not as many as...

Exactly. Your Windows eXtra Problems will configure itself to your own needs, so treat your computer like your wife. That made no sense whatsoever. But i guess i shouldnt be surprised, seeing as you seem to be implying WinXP has more problems than Vista or something equally retarded. I have to agre...

This is intentional though, they aim at you. If you move to the left, (usually they are just the core by the time they start to come back) the retreating AI also moves, though depending on the speed of your ship, it doesn't always succeed. The run-away is also much faster than simple recoil from hul...

Well, since you deleted my initial post which housed my opinion. I still simply dislike all the deflectors lined up in a row. I realise now that they do not present a balance problem, but is there any way to turn off the glow around each one? They seem to pop out too much. Excellent ship, I love the...

AI retreat
I've found that on sandbox, whenever an AI ship goes into hull shock (enemy or ally), it immediately retreats straight backwards as fast as it can. I've never seen an AI do this on the missions or skirmishes. Another weird thing is that sometimes after the AI reaches the edge of the level, it revers...
