Perhaps your videocard and/or RAM are the cause of the problem? The star on the new carrier looks squished - try stretching it horizontally once or shrinking it vertically once.

He put those stretched sections there to show how big the front of the ship would have been, had he been able to complete it.
Hence the "Rough estimate of final area".

They might be referring to pics of new units released as an exclusive in the mag. I don't know for sure, though.

If you don't mind obscure; older gems... Try Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising... A lovely RTS where you control but a single carrier... Lots of story... No co-op (or other multiplay for that matter) but definetely good if you don't want base building but enjoy tactical combat that's actually tactical...
