I would think parenting would fall under playability even though its not explicitly specified.

Here's the first custom mod of your mechs, a Blade/Shield mech. With a beam sword (left click to swing) and an aegis shield (right click to switch between protecting the flank or the front), it lacks ranged firepower but is deadly up close.

Like I said, in certain cases we're using weapons that are not available to players... and obviously I can't reveal those stats to you either, since it's Top Secret NPC Stuff. ;) Having to remember that I'm using Heavy Vulcans to refer to, I don't know, Plasma Cannons, is just more mental paperwork...

I like the ships, they look very functional although the wings seem too cluttered when you add the turrets to them. Show us some pics of damaged ships to see how it looks with some armor plates dislodged and the structure exposed.

The ITS A TRAP sorry couldn't resist battlecruiser is freaking awesome. The sectionwork is pretty much perfect and I have no criticisms. I feel that the shield sections look out of place on this ship by thats just my own opinion. The Nightmare is pretty good too. It looks to me like it can transform...
