I would work more on the places where the wings attach to the core piece.
The way it is now, it looks like a few good explosions would rip the wings off of the ship.

WireMod probably won't fix your problem.
I think your problem it steam related to be honest, I've gotten that error while trying to start completely unrelated games, like Dawn of War. <.<

Since the last update, Garry's Mod broke all my addons severely.
And honestly, even though it's a nice game on it's own, it's just not the same without Wire Mod...
