Different shades with no meaning except that they were different.

Now this last ship is actually better than the ones before. It's spindly and simple, but for a noobship it's not awful. My advice is, try using some different section palettes and keep on building.

I think I know what the problem is. Are you using Windows Vista or Windows 7? If so, you'll be able to see the files using the button 'Compatibility Files' or something alike. Go to your Custom Ships folder, press that button and voila, profit.

The matter is that most people in this forum go for aesthetics, balance or fun gameplay. Aegis and weapons spam provide none of that. You don't need coding to make sprites. MSpaint will suffice. Do remember to save them in a .png or .gif format.
