I'll admit it, it's pretty to see all those guns going of to a degree, but.... fuck.

EDIT: After a bit of snooping, I found that the sections were split into groups, and logic followed that I somehow overlooked the button to switch between the groups. The problem was temporarily fixed by combining every sprite into one master group, changing the numbers correspondingly, of course. ...

Given how outrageously popular Lizzie's work is on the main forum, making the Hades almost an iconic ship, I nominate this bruiser . Also, LEGO!!!!11!!!! I appreciate it but Sean's already rejected my ship due to it "not using enough of the new features". Good luck trying to get him to ta...

I mean, there's a few areas I'm not thrilled with, but... damn.

Yikes! I just realized that most of my ships are giving sprite errors or were built with an old version. I'll get cracking on some new designs shortly. Till then, you're welcome to either of these: http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c348/DraTuicichNovae/Honour-ClassBattleship.png http://i30.photobuck...

Not bad, if a little thin. One addition I think would look good is a section covering the area where the blue core sprite is showing, maybe an Alien core?

Obviously the core-sprite wouldn't show in game, but I just find that area... lacking.

They could just have superb (and I mean really superb) inertial dampeners, a lot of sci-fi ships need them anyway just for their obscene acceleration.

Well now, that's a heck of an improvement! There's still some unpleasant section choices, but it's shape is pretty much exact so far. Things to note before going further would be the Section 03's on the rear edge of the main wings, and the forward wing edges in general. Also, colouring can make all ...

Ehh. It's imposing, but there's a bunch of areas with poor layering/section placement choices. Besides... it's just flat out ugly as hell.

I do like the blue "mini-sun" cores, though.

Those are unmitigatedly horrible.

They don't hold up as ships, having repetition, mirroring errors, and generally poor construction.

As fan-ships they're even worse, since they're too small go give any real indication of the fact that they are meant to be Thunderhawks.

a scatter die is a die with arrows on it pointing at different directions and a symbol which ussually represents a crosshair. Example: if a scatter die is rolled and it falls onto the arrow pointing right the ship moves the required distance to the right. That tells us fuck all without an actual ex...

The Assent, Bulwark, and Longbow are the only ships that really stand out to me; the others aren't bad, but they don't grab me.

The stations are another matter - I love those things! The asymmetrical construction and shield arcs are fantastic.

Not half bad for the scale. They're not over-complex or too simple.

There's a couple aesthetic problems I have, awkward angles and fragile linkages, but that can be easily changed.
