Which happens to be really annoying to use on account of the fact that it doesn't let you search multiple times without waiting between searches, and it's really useless at finding things anyway.

HP question

Something I've been wondering about is how the hp system for individual ships you create works. When you put a value into the "hp" thing for the entire ship in the ship maker, does that mean that the core and each individual section of the ship have this amount of hp each, or is there some...

Moloch launches fighters?
I honestly did not know that. Do they actually do that in the FS2 campaign or is it just an option in FRED2?
Also, I think you're right in having no point defences.

Slominator, these ships are seriously awesome, but I don't think the demeter launcher on the Moloch works with the idea, as you can't get the anti-fighter turrets (or anything else for that matter) to shoot them, making it a bit inconsistent with the FS universe. And the Moloch didn't launch fighter...

The reset function is usually there in case it buggers up and none of the buttons work, but I wouldn't be sure about what it does to the memory. To be honest, I'd take/send it back and if it's something obvious, then you'll feel a twit but at least it will work properly afterwards.
