A very nice non-deployable mine is to just put a teleport module on a 0 speed ship(mine)set to kamikaze AI. They mine sits still untill another ship passes, the mine teleports on top of the ship and explodes.

Missiles are not AoE weapons. Plasma charges, on the other hand... And no, it's impossible to edit a .shp file, or at least reverse engineer one into a blueprint without manually remaking a ship from a screenshot. Missiles have to be AoE; I've seen a missile (singular, not plural) destroy a shield ...

Too messy, section usage-wise. I'd recommend you avoid placing sections just to fill up whatever gaps there may be or to give the ship a definite outline. Right now I find the wings rather atrociously done-up. Perhaps a second revision could eliminate some of the problems this version is showing cu...
