Re: The Spore Game -- Species B
You barely start to wander and explore the surrounding area when the slimy cell wakes up, and rises out of it's slimy temporary nest, seemingly ready to tackle anything again. It's definitely got a scar, visible even through it's shell. Actually, now the shell itself has taken on a white stripe down...

Re: The Spore Game -- species A
You shout out to your fellows (COME ON, GUYS! I'M RUNNING OUT OF SYNONYMS! NAME YOURSELVES!) to use your third-to-strongest slime jet, targeting the midgets. They all unleash loads of slime, launching enough slime simultaneously to start to murk up the water a bit. Fine by you, since as long as you ...

Re: New from Titan Heavy Engineering
I like how the outer sections are slightly blurred, but the inner sections are perfectly clear. It gives a great depth effect, I thinks. And since the outer/lower sections are blurred, but not stretched, IMHO it looks great. The empty gaps do look kind odd, though, without anything inside. You could...

Re: The Spore Game -- Species B
If anyone wants to draw the two species as they are now, at their current stage, before too much happens, it would be cool. I know I drew the Irgise over in the new species X thread over on giantitp, but that's because I was bored in class, and it wasn't that good. Any art style is ok. Even making ...

Re: The Spore Game -- species A
You swallow one of the rocks, an almost perfectly clear little thing you've named "Deeline", which is so soft it digests pretty quickly, giving you nutrients, but minimally fills your stomach (+4 DNA). You then continue naming things, trying to name as many actions as possible, so that you...

Re: The Spore Game -- Species B
You steal the initiative from your own bodily functions, and split. Once your DNA stops it's spastic protests, you realize you've got a bunch of thin wiry things hanging off of your belly, sort of woven together, wiggling, absorbing the latent strands of algae in the water around you, although there...

Whoops, I think I forgot to update today. And now it's a bit late for it... Sorry. I'll update tomorrow for sure, but sorry for the lack of update today.

Re: The Spore Game -- Species B
You turn away from the pair, deciding that perhaps creating a cross-species language isn't going to be as easy as you thought. The two cells do follow you, though, or at least the trail their following, naming things, coincides with the path you're taking looking for prey. You then spot something......

Re: The Spore Game -- species A
as you mull over your clone's latest name for that pretty rock, you munch on some of the ruegga, finding it to be chock full of something... harmful. You body seizes up, and you stop producing slime. you find you can still move your mouth and talk, but that's about it. Your clone realizes that you c...

Re: The Spore Game -- species A
You instantly come up with two names for yourself, one complicated, one short. You mull them over, being unable to decide which to take upon yourself. You decide that you will decide later, depending on whether you think of any others or not. You then start your language forming process, pointing at...

Re: The Spore Game -- Species B
You feel conflicted, deciding whether to work on improving communications between your own species, this small, slimy species, or go run off to find new prey. Your problem becomes simpler when you notice your clone has swam off, obviously making his own decision to go off and hunt new prey. You deci...

Re: The Spore Game -- Species B
You gobble up as much more of the stomper as you can fit in your mouth, as much as you can swallow with your tongue, as much as you can period, although you're still hungry (11 DNA). You note that already the stomper's meat is becoming less nutritious, and that it's tasting kinda... old. You eat you...

Re: The Spore Game -- species A
You chew off some of the stomper's membrane, eating what you can (5 DNA), spitting out what you can't. You then proceed to split, your genetic code rearranging itself rapidly, mimicking some of what you saw, creating new stuff, and just generally changing around, quickly. Once it settles down, you n...
