This sort of color scheme that you're using is typically just for accents, not for depthing. I'd recommend you use a single color and apply it to sections that aren't being used to give the ship depth, or to all sections of the same depth. It will look simpler. I don't like your runways. The SW sect...

If you're using Vista and UAC is on, BSF might not be able to save screenshots. I forget how to fix it, but I think it involves running the game as an admin (right click > run as admin). Or you could just turn off UAC, because it's a massive pain in the ass anyway. Print screen will work every time....

They're good. I don't like the royal blue segment on either side of the most recent revision. Other than that, I don't have much to say. They're notably above average, but not at the holy ship level. That's probably why you're not getting much feedback.

I don't like this mech nonsense, but I've got to admit, your SW mech is pretty fucking awesome. Could you post a gif of the transformation?

As a side note, I lol'd at this:

The neutrons used to bombard the unstable nuclei are generated by the decay of those nuclei. Not quite. Something has to start the chain reaction. This is typically done by exciting the fuel with x rays or particles like neutrons or protons. Refined uranium is capable of spontaneous fission, but it...

and a small reactor is possible with uranium pellets that heat water to create steam that charges capacitors. lolwut? Please tell me how you are using a radioactive rock to boil water. And then elaborate on how you are charging capacitors with steam. Nuclear power plants operate by taking something...

Thanks all you guys in the second half of the last page. I haven't given up yet ( here's a picture of what's going on so far ), and I agree with most of your suggestions. I humbly recommend you start fresh. Continuing to work on this ship will result in your progress being plagued by painful repeti...

I would very much like to see these without the shields. They only really serve to blur the details and, ultimately, detract from the ships. From what I can tell, this style seems simple, consistent, and effective. Very stock-esque. They're not the most elaborate, but this is a nice little fleet.

This ship looks more like a penis than any ship I've seen to date. In other news, your first order of business is to cut down on repetition. Entirely. With custom section import available, there's no excuse for it anymore. This probably means making considerably smaller ships, because big ships are ...

These sprites need some refining. The issue is that they're shaded with respect to what appears to be an overhead light source. By themselves, this creates a very 3D appearance. When you put them together into a ship, it just looks bizarre. Some sections are illuminated while others, which should be...

Crop your screenshots before posting them so we don't have to be distracted by the whole BSF GUI, for fuck's sake. Goddammit.

Section work needs a lot of fine-tuning. There's no rhyme nor reason to your section placement. There's no sense of flow. They look like randomly assembled chunks of spindly metal. If you're going to do stock ships, I recommend you either replicate them piece-for piece or go all out and use your own...

Excellent work, as usual. Hands down, best "scavenger" fleet yet. Can't wait to see more. How are you doing all of the "dirt?" Doodads?
