I like the asymmetry of some of the fleets, makes them appealing to the eye to break up all the similarity. I don't really like the naval fleet as much either, they are all too similar. . . Which I guess is how they should look because there really isn't a whole lot of difference between ships in to...

But Alunya is right. . . I wouldn't make a habit out of this because. . .it is really hard to make a side view.

Putting some effort into one of these attempts is fine but. . .trying to make a fleet. . . you might end up turning emo and cutting yourself ._o'

Yeah don't feel too bad about the parenting right nao. . .its better than on my first ships. . . you couldn't see the ship from all the lines because all the weapons were assigned to the wrong parts and all the parts were assigned to another part that was on the other side of the ship. . .it was bad...

I think that looks really good compared to the picture dude.

Also for future reference. . .

With pulsars, if you want to make them look like a beam before they launch themselves. . . you need to set the shot deviations to 0-3.

Just thought you might like to know that interesting bit of info. . .

With High spread it makes for a cool effect.

I liked the wing loops. . . I guess I am strange.

I thought they were part of what made the ship unique.


As for weapons. . . A pulsar that can barrage the enemy to DETH?...DETH?

Cute little ships you got there. Those in a pretty big group would stand fairly well against a decent sized ship I bet.

well most of them are interesting. . . BS Unos looks a little. . .thrown together. My fav is kinda tied between Courty Yard, The raptor, and Twin gun. -nod-

It looks structurally weak. . the top part is too far from the bottom part. . .that may just be me. . . It just seems like to big of a target to be able to take out the whole top part by shooting the piece in the middle. . . But when I think side view of a ship I also think layers. . . it needs more...

Hmm. . .interesting concept. . . In my mind. . . a side view of a ship would be more angular. . even a star ship. It really just depends on the look of an entire fleet if what you have just posted would be fathomable or not. That kinda reminds me of some alien. . . I keep imagining "ET phone ho...
