Not bad. I generally like the shapes, but the missile spam is a bit... noobish (no offense). I don't know how much ship-making experience you have, but I generally believe that ships from a "mature" builder do not need eighty bazillion weapons. Color scheme could use some more variety, too...

I am really liking this design theme. Keep up the good work. Do we have a DL yet? (Please e-slap me if we do and I was too lazy to notice it.)

Cycerin, I can't tell whether you're being sarcastic or not. *spends several hours thinking; head explodes from high blood pressure during hour 8*

Those are the animals from which the name was taken. We were discussing the explosive devices. They stick to surfaces like limpets, but are remotely detonated.

...Unless you were trying to show us where the name came from, in which case I apologize for wasting a perfectly good soapbox.

Agreed. I've always found Sabots to be rather powerful (and therefore I love to put them on my wankships). On a side note, how is Sabot pronounced? I personally prefer SABB-itt (rhymes with "grab it") but I usually hear SAY-bott (which for some reason I really dislike :?). I've also come a...

First: Mine Deployer FTW! Second: Thank you, Lizzie. Your mention of C&C Tiberian Sun, while not where I had heard the term originally, reminded me of where I had: it was mentioned in a plot summary of one of the James Bond movies (the one where Bond and a Chinese woman put the little mines all ...

Grr. Darn. They're annoying as hell and I'd like to be able to make them annoying for the other side, too.

Is there even a slight chance of getting a Limpet Module or similar in some later update or am I just screwed in this category?

Limpet Mines

Okay, I was browsing the Custom Sprites folder and I found something called a "Limpet Mine." It looks like this (without the green): http://filesmelt.com/Imagehosting/pics/55a2dcd8adbd63f32ddb0624e8e9f97a.gif (Original sprite at C:/Program Files/Battleships Forever/Custom Sprites/Stock Mis...

My guess is that the game knows when you have lost by having a variable set to the number of ships you have on the field and when that variable reaches zero (all ships destroyed), it tells you you have lost. But, the game doesn't increase that variable when spawner modules spawn platforms/ships, but...

Excellent work so far, but the mothership could use some tweaks. IMO, it would look better facing the other way (make the back the front and vice versa). Also, I suggest using one of them bubble shields for the center area. Just suggestions, though; do whatever you want.
