I hope to see Grinder Tested Fleets from other people to play with soon. Playing with myself just isn't nearly as fun. As for myself, I am working on a fleet that is less powerful than individual SSF ships, but able to take them down in groups of two, while utilizing different technologies. SSF shi...

Yes, please keep her balanced. It is easy to say a lot, it's hard to say a little. Similarly, it's easy to overload your ship with guns.

I'll try her out again tonight, just make sure the ZIP or RAR is up to date.

Correct! No powerups. They can save a ship for two whole waves if it's healing, or certainly blow out one wave if it's weapons augmentation.

As for the merits of the thread, I literally have no opinion. I want to agree with TormakSaber that your ships look better balanced and, ergo, more fun as they probably won't attempt to seize my computer by its neck and throttle it. My kwibble would be that's a lot of space taken up in screen captur...

All right. That's what I read, but when I saw the filename was the same I second guessed it.

Thank you, Sponge.

Wow, nice work. I really like the Noonwraith. I also, for once, love the color schemes.

I like how you have the armor extensions and the guns further back, that looks really nice.

Download?

Humans are prone to control issues. It's forgivable. "People do not seek to be satisfied, they seek to overcome resistance." I suppose I have no problem with it because I have made the logical realization that: I never play the same game forever, so opening something up allows others to be...

No other changes; I admit to being ignorant of the fact that I could even make the field larger. To Review, I... Place the ship-in-question as AI either above or below the station (whichever has less obstructing asteroids) leave the game in real-time as I hurriedly go about destroying any obstructin...

No, really, this is TMTDNR: TMTDNR - yep. Someone was kind enough to use it on me once in the GP2X forums when everyone was sharing their usage of their obscure South Korean embedded linux handhelds, and I dared to talk about how my kids used it, and I never forgot it. Now I preface anything I thin...

I love your color work and, although tendril ships usually make me wonder how they stay together when thrusters fire, these are so organically done they make me think that the whole thing kind of just moves , not as in a jellyfish, but as though propelling themselves through space was as simple as S...

The Nyx Super Dreadnought eats an SSF Cruiser, but the SFF Heavy Cruiser managed to eat at its weak points before it's face was destroyed. The Nyx Super Dreadnought has one armor plate in front of each beam that holds the whole arm sections together... if you can move them and put some other piece t...

And also, the ships tend to lack in weaponry. I'm not suggesting that you cover the ships entirely in weapons, I just feel that the ships look a bit sparse and bare without the proper amounts of weapons. I have to disagree. Scarce weaponry is yet another quality in my book. Ah, Kaelis, you are anot...

Wow, I really love the progression I saw here. Good stuff - the first ship was another "Well, its father loves it." But then it got worlds better, then you added more curves and it was even better... and at the end, I want a copy.

Good stuff.

Differing Scales *chuckles* We are seeking perfection in a system that has none. Here is the scale: Two fleets downloaded off of teh Interwebs - you have no idea how well they will scale against each other. You try them, and one slows down your PC and utterly annihilates the other. Or, two fleets d...
