Everyone builds what they want, how they want to, becuse it's fun. Not to balance their own ships against those of someone else. so why do people start tournaments? why do new tournaments pop out every week, with 10 - 20 players taking place in them? there is a subforum for tournaments, some people...

hay guys

i made an excel file were you can enter how many weapons/sections/whatever your ship got and it can calculate the total points for you!

but i think some posts were kinda rude with KiT. you couldve said it in a much friendlier way. and i think it would be cool if he completly works out these rules.

did you even read the post carefully? its not about inserting rules in shipmaker, its just a new tournament ruleset thats a bit more comcplicated. afaik he wants to implement those formulas in an excel file and publish it for tournaments. and because you told him to "fuck off, go away, noone ca...

What always annoys me is that youve got to count every section and sec hp upgrades. why not counting the total hp? so 1 point equals 50 hp on a frigate, 100 on a cruiser, 200 on a battleship, and so on...??

Speed/Accel. 0 ships are disallowed. I do not want to see anything even remotely resembling distributive aegis armour (though nice idea). Plus, I feel that the ships in this should really be ships and not stations.

about the pd/aegis thing...

you could scale pd prizes in relation to the number of aegis. so one aegis doubles the prizes for pd, two triple the prize, and so on...?
