Nice font you used there in the picture. For a second I thought I knew what font it is, but then I realized that I can't actually recognize it. Might you be willing to tell me which one it is? :)

That's quite a cool hull you've got there.

Holiday-themed ships?

Considering that Christmas is just over (in the United States anyway), there seems to be a disturbing lack of Christmas- (or other holiday-) themed ships on the forum. Anyone willing to make some ships with holiday themes? Any holiday is fine. It shouldn't be hard to make a Hanukkah candelabrum, IMO...

Anything you do with curves is good. :) IMO the station should have curved segments that extend outward, like claws.

SN Sirius Missile Cruiser and Sirio II http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g168/Xanthanyushch/SiriusandSirioII.png This one's quite petite, actually. I set out to build a traditional ship, until I realized that I have no idea what "traditional" ships look like. So here's what I came up with...

Nice ship. Now extend that tail bit out a little and add another horizontal section, and we'll have an actual airplane-shaped ship on our hands. :D As far as I know, this is the first ship here that's evocative of an airplane (and no, bird-shaped ships don't count).

Winged. The ship has a biomorphic feel to it, and the wingless version just feels amputated. If you must use the wingless version, have the aft end of the ship taper out to an end, and make the body of the ship longer.

If it's meant to look like a fish, it could use some more curves. Otherwise, nice ship.

The Axenic Leviathan looks like a very good ship to write a backstory filled with mythological allusions about. :D

Thanks for all the comments. By the way, I realize that there's too much... stuff on the Altair II . How many demeters/much point defense do you suggest that it have? THe color scheme makes them look like they are coated in GARBAGE. Sweet. I've been wanting to make a ship named "Gehenna" f...

1 speed, 0.4 turning, 0.04 acceleration. Don't know if that counts as maneuverable or not. But anyway, these ships are not built for functionality.
