you could try running it in windowed mode. that might solve the problem, since then BSF can run at whatever resolution it feels like. The colouring is a bit bland, but there's no written law than says a ship has to have matching colours, or trendy off set colours i suppose.

I don't understand why you're creating the ships from its side pov when BSF is top down..?

Overall a good fleet design, you have carried over similar design philosophies and they 'gel' together.

+10 points for originality and great design.

Looking at shape, I would give these ships great turning ability and balance that with slower than normal speed - but perhaps good acceleration.
