Not, its not weird. Capitalization matters in file paths. And you shouldnt be changing directory and file names anyway. Use whats given, there is no reason to mess with it, and it breaks dependencies.

Have you tried using normal directories and filenames? You know, like everyone else? C:\Battleships Forever\Custom Sprites\Kae_necron\Kae_nec24.png ? Sprite name guidelines are there for a reason.

If you want my advice (do you?), instead of coming up with grand ideas, focus on planning everything out (gameplay, mechanics, implementation) and then start coding it. You could at least give a nod to the game the sprites are from, Kae. :P Yeah, i meant to include that in the post but simply forgot. I can't say for sure exactly how many sprites will there be; probably won't know until its done. But definitely at least 256. The aim is to have as many and as varied as possible, since i want this pack to be versatile and 'universal'.
