Can't you? A small, fast missile that doesn't do a lot of damage is good against fighters. Larger missiles, with very low acceleration, are good against larger ships.

Ah. Now there's a good question. They're a good tactical option, just like space stations. How about pricing them at half of the value of their intended target?
