Re: Hi BSF Forum, Have a new thread.

Having the ships in the perfect orthogonal placement of Shipmaker is much better if you want to use them as a reference.

Re: For the bots

Bien That is amazing! I've been trying to design a Hestia in 3d and of course a lot of it had to be artistic license. I imagined the wings down-swept a bit but the star destroyer trenches work great! Thanks! I did in fact remodel the 3d Hestia a bit. It's a break from being exactly a Hestia's silho...

Re: Hi BSF Forum, Have a new thread.

Thanks for this! I already did a 3d Hestia, now it'll be easier to do the other ships as well now that a clear image is available.

Re: For the bots

It's the nth time I've looked at it, but it's still as amazing as it was the first time I saw it.

Re: Where are they now?

I'm down to see that stream also, Deltaflyer. Hey Bien! Damn, looks like you're doing well in life. :) I was a real cunt to you in the past when you were probably just... you know, a kid acting like a kid, and I'd like to apologise for that. It was shitty and I'm sorry. Glad to see things are lookin...

Re: Where are they now?

God. The nostalgia. I missed this place, and I'm quite a bit happy to see people hanging out here again. This may or may not be a true revival of the forum, but I'm happy nonetheless. I remember being an annoying little shit on here and on the IRC. A lot's happened between then and now. A lot of it ...

Been working on this. It's basically a gun with engines and a bridge.

Also, that round center section is supposed to represent a bridge or observation tower.

Re: Bien Tries Getting The Hang of Shipbuilding Again

I've messed around with the first one. --- http://i54.tinypic.com/2ufammf.jpg UEN FF-031 'Javelin' Class Missile Frigate. The Javelin was designed to be a fast-moving long-ranged missile platform to support small groups of Shortsword Frigates. Due to recent budget cuts, the Javelin was converted int...

Bien Tries Getting The Hang of Shipbuilding Again

So, it's been a long time since I've built ships. This is my latest:

And this was done around March last year, I think.

So I guessed, why not post them here, as I'm thinking of going online again.

Re: The Future Of BSF

This is awesome news! Best of wishes to th15 and his course. One question though, would it still be free?

ED: Sorry if I sound like an asshole. And if it isn't, I guess it's time to save up on money. Also, I guess this news was enough to make me come out of hiding.

Re: Bien Experiments with Glows!

So then, what would look better? DST+Uraki+Revamped Stock? And how would I best go about executing a makeover of the current ship?

Bien Experiments with Glows!

Right. Nothing much to say, except that I got bored and began building ships again. So anyway, here's me fraking around with glows on a probably uncalibrated  monitor.

That thing is a forward mounted high-gain sensors array ala HW2 Carrier.
