Firstly, nice game, th15. Secondly, I'm glad to see that you've improved warps and made duonuds/trinuds more expensive... going through normal mode in the previous version, I found that using only mono/duo/trinuds seemed to work considerably better than trying to use warps or lances, and took much l...

I tend to pick dramatic-sounding words, mythological names, or mash two random words together to make something vaguely poetic. Sometimes I pick words from a theme (eg. Sigil, Rune, Glyph).

But it is offered for those who want it- It's just not payed for by the taxpayers. If it's a low interest class, why teach it at a lower school? It's unneeded education, thus it should be education you pay for. Even if it's only 20 bucks a unit like at community colleges. The same could be said abo...

I did not specify public schools, although I am not against having religion classes as an elective in state high schools. I don't know why we need to do that when just about every college has it. History is available at most universities, too, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be offered at school...

I did not specify public schools, although I am not against having religion classes as an elective in state high schools. And, of course, it's only sensible to teach the basic beliefs of a variety of religions in social studies, since religion has had a great influence on human society throughout hi...

Evolution and ID are completely mutually exclusive, the entire point of ID was to disprove evolution. Untrue. While the motivation for most of those who push ID is to "disprove" evolution, they are not in fact mutually exclusive. The compromise between the two is to suggest that humanity ...

I tend to go for overwhelming tech/economic superiority. In GalCiv2, I typically go for techs which increase my diplomacy skill. I then bring myself up to speed on the other branches by buying everyone else's research for a pitiful sum. Having huge diplomacy also prevents anyone attacking you in the...

I, personally, think that part of many people's objection to gun control laws is that they confuse "control" with "ban outright". There are always claims that people need guns for self defence. However, do you really need a fully-automatic weapon with a 30-round clip to defend yo...

Evolution. I believe it is best supported by the facts. Of course, ID and evolution are not mutually exclusive, so theoretically it could be both. Until I am shown adequate evidence that this is so, however, I see no reason to believe it. The arguments for young-Earth creationism I find unconvincing.

My personal favourite paradox is "I cannot correctly determine this statement to be true." Now, if I were to determine the statement to be true, it would be false, and I would be incorrect. However, if the statement is false, I cannot correctly determine it to be true, and it is therefore ...

Mafia works well over IRC, if you want to try that instead of the forums. You'd need to get a bunch of people on, though.
