These aren't very alienish to me. They are, however, Incredibly blocky looking, and like you said the bullets look generic and old school.

Can we have effects for Doodads? Like Fade in/out and the such?

The green struck me a little odd,but only slightly. Same Here. The new ones are quite improved compared to the originals. I think you can go with either the green or blue for the aegis. Those stalk things with a glowing thing on the end are pretty nice. I'd suggest you put them on this ship too sin...
