Did they have some balance testing? It seems that first few are stronger then stock ships and I don't even mention bigger ones.

Wah. Hull is gorgeous. One thing that does not seem in place are those wings in the back. Hull looks like it flows or something. And wings are spikes. Make them in ~ shape and use same wave like approach you used for back of the hull. So that they look like hulls smooth continuation. Anyways hull is...

Wanted to do more hexagonal parts and decided to do it in more adaptive way. HexaArmor: http://fc01.deviantart.com/fs24/f/2007/364/7/0/HectaArmor_by_wonderwhy_ER.gif Then I was thinking that we don’t have sections representing reactors. Yeah. I would like to have a closer look at hull too.

Tough it doesn't look in pair with wings... Have you seen a crab with peacock wings?

I think only languages which don't have this as problem are C/C++ and Asembler - what's wrong here? Only programming language which works “as is” is Assembler. But writing games more complicated then snake on it is suicide. And C++ is fastest high level programming language as far as I can say. And...

Why not use external resources, th15? Besides that, an 80x80 sprite at 32-bit color is only 6400*32 = 204800 = 200 kb. That is nothing! Most people have between 512 MB and 3 GB of RAM!. Fine. Why don't you start a poll with all the pieces you would consider putting in the game, ~20, and we'll slice...

Game Maker is slow as molasses. But with modern computing as powerful as it is that usually doesn't matter. Game Maker will rarely give you any performance issues if you make platformers, SHMUPS or driving games. It's only when you start trying to use Game Maker for the sort of project it's not des...

Tweaked as far as i know. No sense in using ordinary rocekts in uberships and i think it is an ubership. Ubership if you like... This is meant to be a non-canon embodiment of the SDR concept from The Shiva Option. There's a reason those missile are tweaked, to achieve the 360 degree homing-launchin...

No custom weapons is fine as far as I'm concerned. Ne aegis blasters or other schnitz, not to mention it makes things WAY simpler for the organizers. Balance & simplicity FTW! Nice ship b.t.w. Are the weapons tweaked or stock? Tweaked as far as i know. No sense in using ordinary rocekts in uber...

Well i am still lookin...
