Wah. Hull is gorgeous. One thing that does not seem in place are those wings in the back. Hull looks like it flows or something. And wings are spikes. Make them in ~ shape and use same wave like approach you used for back of the hull. So that they look like hulls smooth continuation. Anyways hull is...

I think only languages which don't have this as problem are C/C++ and Asembler - what's wrong here? Only programming language which works “as is” is Assembler. But writing games more complicated then snake on it is suicide. And C++ is fastest high level programming language as far as I can say. And...

Why not use external resources, th15? Besides that, an 80x80 sprite at 32-bit color is only 6400*32 = 204800 = 200 kb. That is nothing! Most people have between 512 MB and 3 GB of RAM!. Fine. Why don't you start a poll with all the pieces you would consider putting in the game, ~20, and we'll slice...

Game Maker will rarely give you any performance issues if you make platformers, SHMUPS or driving games. It's only when you start trying to use Game Maker for the sort of project it's not des...

Tweaked as far as i know. No sense in using ordinary rocekts in uberships and i think it is an ubership. Ubership if you like... This is meant to be a non-canon embodiment of the SDR concept from The Shiva Option. There's a reason those missile are tweaked, to achieve the 360 degree homing-launchin...

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y180/E-Sn0-31337/HexaStruct_by_wonderwhy_ERcleaned.gif Cleaned hexagon :) One problem: The rectangles in the diagonal sections aren't quite parallel with the edges, so if the hexagon is put on one of it's other sides it won't look quite right. Well i am still lookin...
