On topic: Nice ships, especially the flagship is one of the cooler massive ships I've seen, I have a thing for ships that can fight in any direction, rather than being constrained to massive forward fire. Off topic: It should be Economic Global Alliance Defense Starfleet, so that the acronym is EGAD...

Agreed. Sections, now. You have been conscripted. Enjoy your stay, and new job. Or not. Either way, make sections, slave! Erm, I mean, "valuable worker"...

I have to agree with that; rarely do I need a Flux in the exact same shape by the time it has finished recharging.

Does Kamikaze mode always try to blow up right on top of the enemy? Instead, could it be set to blow up at the ship's engagement range? Kamikaze attacks are often more effective if the ship is moving towards the enemy and not right on top of them. See: Kinetic Missile to get an idea of what I mean.

Ah... that's what ctrl-D is for... ^_^

Two Kinetic Missiles + Ctrl-D = PAIN for the Leviathan. Also, the debris from the missile travel really, REALLY fast when Ctrl-D is used...

Almost too fast to be useful against anything smaller than the Leviathan...

Agreed.

Also, I'm horrible at art so I'm not volunteering for this, but it seems like it would be nice to have some more Core designs, in addition to parts.

I like the fourth one, actually; generic parts can be very useful. A square that's nothing more than a square is something I could use, much like the "generic" circle part already included in ShipMaker.

The AI for allied and enemy forces is definately different. Try putting an allied Cronus against an enemy one; the allied will win almost every time because it will shoot straight for the core, while the enemy tries to blow off side pieces. I wonder if this had any affect on the custom ship tourney...

The Vega: Technology Analysis

Putting this here mostly for my own reference, and to invite comments and suggestions. Will be updated with pictures and actual ships at a later date. ...Might not be until ShipMaker 3.0, however, because the ability to import and export custom weapons would be incredibly useful for me, for obvious ...

Wow... The Anasazi looks... amazing. For some reason, it feels like it's about ready to transform into a Gundam... (Cybuster, much?*). ...Now there's a feature for the next version of BF: Transforming ships! :D Anyway, keep up the good work. *If you get this reference, you are most definately an ota...

I would like to say, Seraph, that you WIN. ^_^ I love your naming scheme, and the ships seem very appropriate to what they are named after. :) All of the ships look really awesome, and the Andromeda seems well done. Now we just need the Magog Worldship, no? :P I'm thinking lots and lots of Demeters....
