I do this (most of the time, anyways) and then just wing it.

Arcalane wrote:Well it'd be accurate for infrared lasers, since we technically can't see into the infrared spectrum!
Actually, in space you couldn't see any kind of laser. Since there's nothing to scatter the light, the only effect you could see would be the target exploding. :P

So you're saying it's stupid because it's accurate to how it is in the books?

Arcalane wrote:Not bad, save for the fact they need a 1px border around all edges.
All of them have the requisite 1px border.
Arcalane wrote: Also I think the detail is a bit too high for BSF, but still, pretty nifty.
You can never have too much detail.

I'm not complaining. I'm noting errors in the design so that he has time to fix it, and thus not get a low accuracy score when it comes time to judge the ships.

First, what you have labeled the engine is not actually the engine. Second, the big octagonal room off the dining room is on the...

After seeing "The Grand Phoenix", I'm inclined to disagree with you rather vehemently on that matter. It seems to me that you have the skills required to enter the competion... Plus, we could definately use some more entries. Incorrect. The nanny program on my computer has taken a severe ...

Even though I'm a judge, could I submit a fleet design? Judges aren't allowed to enter the competition, sorry. If you would like to enter the competition, then I'll have to find another judge to replace you. I wouldn't mind being a judge. It's not like I could participate in this in any other way.

That's why I increased the range on them.

Updated after taking the suggestions into account. Except for the one about the tail, 'cause it looked really silly.
