Looks like a dead animal. Anyone who sees a naked woman in that is seriously sick and twisted. :| This - I mean, seriously? At the most there's a face in there, but if you think that's anything like what a naked woman looks like, geezus wtf - aint any woman I know. On a related note, anyone familia...

Been running it on win7 for a while now (RC). One thing is that screenshots in SM don't seem to work - dunno if the admin privileges are all screwy or something :/

So I just noticed that TSA had released a sprite pack or two, and wanted some feedback on this little thing - especially since it's been a while since I made anything and was feeling a bit rusty.

I agree with Arc that something should be done about those straight spars. Tbh they look a bit crap compared to the rest of the ship atm, and the straight lines are a little out of place with the feel of the rest of the design. Perhaps more 'shipyard' stuff would flesh it out, or a better animation ...

Hmm, pretty nicely industrial, without the blue and random nacelles. The tri-stepped outline made me think of the human halo ships a little. You've managed to blend that large square component into the engine block well - I normally hate seeing it, heh. Other than that, it is a fairly generic block ...

Lets just say that it's a bit too early to tell, use less aegis, and the /img tag goes at the end of the link, not the beginning...

You should put more aegis on those green ones - I think I can see some gaps.

No, seriously 16 isn't enough for a ship that size :/

Or perhaps, maybe, possibly you could think of a better way to balance them?

I'd say do them lighter, more in line with what's already been done. It's easy to darken sections down in SM, but impossible to lighten them up much.

For some reason I really quite like the shapes of that last big one. It would work really well with animations, having the bow close up then lock back. However, you should think more carefully about the composition of sections within your general outlines. If you focus on the internal lines you shou...

it would be nice if you could use the booster mechanic to cause an increase in reload time for weapons, particularly lasers, as the radiators are destroyed. A tiny alpha'd booster parented to the radiator and positioned on the weapon targeting a small hidden section that acted as the weapon's parent...

Weird - have you ever run into a situation where any missile does lock on to another target? Or are you talking about pre-launch?

one other point is don't make the core too small, lest it become next to impossible to destroy the fighter once you've blown the sections off. Adding a thruster that sets the core's speed to 0 when the hull is destroyed is a simple way to stop the battlefield getting filled with minuscule highly-eva...

@Anyone who thinks nanobots are a good idea lololololololo Terribly impractical. First up, how? How do you develop something so small, and somehow outfit it with the ability to damage a ship's armor? I could see maybe outfitting them with a small chemical explosive, but then they don't last very lo...
