Yeah, sorry for the mix-up. Tons of fighters can get kinda laggy, but they don't crash the game.Necrontyr1998 wrote:Oh wait, Individual fighterBAYS not fighters?

Re: FighterBay Beta Release
That can't be right, my Novian Scientia launches 6-9 fighters at a time :P O: Huuuh. I dunno, then. Maybe it's just me. Or maybe it's the sprites I'm using. Or maybe any number of things. It's almost certainly not my hardware, though. This laptop is probably the most powerful computer I have ever h...

Re: FighterBay Beta Release
The game appears to like to crash when lots of fighters are launched once. Experimentation has suggested that the magic number of fighter bays scrambling at the same time (don't have to be the same ship if they're all selected and targeted at once) to cause crashing is 6. Five is just fine and dandy...

Re: Meta 2 Test Build
Fair enough, but I mean like... I suppose 'Location fuse' would be a slightly better description. Like, something with the Fuse Variance stat that explodes. Although that aiming bit is clever, I don't know why I didn't think of using that.

Re: Meta 2 Test Build
At considerable risk of 'necromancy', as some call posting in an old thread like this: If we're making proximity-fused autocannons, and we already have impact-fused ones, why not have timed-fuse? It seems relatively trivial to me to nick some code from the Plasma Charge or Repeating Artiller any of ...

Re: Sprites
Dragging? That's not what you do...(so what if it took forever for me to figure it all out...) You need to click on 'Tools' in SM, then find Import Custom Sprite and click that. Select the sprite you want and click it and it gets added at the end of the section list. Weapons have a 'custom sprite' t...

Re: Weapons and Modules Guide + New Weapons/Modules
He's right, although for the wrong reasons. See, when the weapon fires 1 bullet per 1 frame, it doesn't matter which one it uses for energy, and either way, if it uses less energy, it's going to fire longer and therefore more, since it can only fire at said rate :P But yeah. Just turn up the firing ...

Bug/glitch/problem: Arrow keys not working
I keep running into this problem where the arrow keys in ShipMaker stop working and I can't scroll. Bit of a handicap if one is making very large ships. I thought I could fix this by clicking a 'name' box on a weapon, since it seemed to earlier, but it does not seem to be the case now. Why does this...

Re: Request thread
Hmm... Not sure if this is the best place to post this but there's not much about this little game in general. WaveNUD: Fires a wave of some width at opponents. This wave spreads apart as it travels and is reflected by NUDS and refracted (bent) by creeps. Each time a portion passes through a creep, ...

Re: Shellcore Command sections
Eh, I'm pretty sure I've already exhausted most of the reasons you'd say, Seraph or whatever you wish to be called.
Including curing cancer, apparently.
On another note, Battleships Forever is indeed an awesome game.
