Custom beam sprites glitch out when surfaces are on, so don't bother. Just use the rescale options in ED2.
If you want the fancier beams, use the fusionbeam or pulsebeam. Also IIRC Shockbeams resize themselves based on the damage value given, so that's another possibility.

Honestly, there's not much need for these ridiculous superships. This was something I built on a whim, and it probably won't appear in DGW proper.

Wait, I don't know if anyone have noticed this or not, but I think calvin put the Fraxy Sprites in the wrong folder, isn't iit supposed to be in Custom Sprites/Fraxy Sprites? I'll admit, I have 3 different folders with the fraxy sprites and no clue which one to use. IIRC the one I use is fraxysprit...

HM_Realistic has the HM_X_Sensors for clusters and HM_SensorBlock03 for individual antennae. SS_prosectionax13 is also useful, while prosectionax12 has an antennae doohicky on one side. Some of the shiny sections also have antennae poking out on a side, but I don't use those much. Speaking of antenn...

It does, that's half the entire point. You can youse whatever fightery sprite for fighters.
Just don't try changing the actual module's sprite, that's never worked.
