It's realy in the file format. Old ships/files work fine with the ' still in them. It only gets broken when recompiling.

There's a bug in the new ship files:
Names can't have apostrophes in them.


E.g. Tom's Ship will crash the game with a compiler error. Same ship named Toms Ship will work.

Unlike any BSF bugs that I've encountered so far, this one actually crashes the game completely.

I've got a suggestion, or a wish: A autofire toggle for modules. I wanted to build a longrange fire support ship, equipped with Gluon Bolters and Demeter pods and well ... it's useless. I mean, it works fine as long as the AI has it, just when it's in my fleet the whole manual targeting micro manage...

Tbh. I've got a fleet in the making. Ships are mostly done (if I could stop myself from redesigning and tweaking over and over :roll: ), storyline too. But it's taking some time and I aint got much due to my uni diploma paper that needs finishing ... too.

As for the editor: A function that allows to replace a part with another one would be very welcome. Or a function that allows redefining dependencies. Why? Cos it's extremely annoying to construct and after the 30st piece you realize that piece number 6 doesn't quite fit or that the part dependencie...

Whoa, those beasts put the battle into Battleships Forever. :shock: How's the performance with those? New mode? Think 1 allien and 1 friendly super battleship. Wind's looks good and might work well. Arclane's I guess will be almost unbeatable. I mean, almost 360° shielding and only tiny angles to fire at the struts. Can you upload that one Arclane? Would like to see if I'm right or wrong with my assumption. Edit: Btw. love the idea of a multi-level leviath...
