Re: custom modules.
haha ok. the reason i was asking specifically was because they look so ugly over the ship, but as specified above, using the current features can bypass this.Arcalane wrote:It's possible, but not currently supported. Maybe in an upcoming version... which'll be out about the same time hell freezes over, I expect.

oh haha. ok. i can do that. but how does it look?Imaillusion wrote:You probaly can't see it, but at the moment the ship in the screen shot is lit up like a christmas tree. You need to go to the options menu in the game and turn the "glows" off, so that there isn't any of that blurry stuff around your ship

Re: Something New
i have to ask, just because your view of a battleship opposes my view(something that should be very thick, heavily armored, and well armed). when the shields go down, the parts that have the triple guns there seem to me to be way too vulnerable and flimsy, and a well place shot would dissable them. ...

Re: Something rather large
Since my cnc got removed, I'll post it again. Change the yellow on the battlecruiser to a more orange . Front doesn't exactly flow as well as it could to the back. Also angling the blue aegis back wings might help keep the flow and keep overall coherency. On the nightmare, color scheme is... idk. C...

The Myrsidon strikes me as special though. However, I mean special as in... oh screw it, enough of being subtle. lol Anna being subtle. This thing is hideous, man. You've got lotsa chunky-ass rectangular bits in places and that's not too bad on its own yeah that's okay but then you cover up that wi...

XS-2 Undermicht http://i1011.photobucket.com/albums/af240/AssassinVrxz/SMscreen042.png i thought i would add in a little ship for once. i used the same style of making sprite layers so that the ship has makeshift armor, and gives it more detail. im going to post a view of it in action, or else the b...

Quote pyramid spam is annoying. There is good looking clutter. Some may call it detail. Anyway, your clutter tends to look unattractive because it has no flow. Try choosing just one direction of flow. yeah im workign on it. practice makes perfect of course. and obviously color adds to flow. im bad ...

Well, there is stylistic junky (namely WH40K Orcs), but this is just a jumble. Some interesting effects going on with the spikes, but the rest is just a mess of TSA sprites. The center was looking pretty good 2-3 sprites out, but the front two arms are just cluttered. yess.. my goal has been achiev...

apart from the fact that the front and back are totally out of proportion i like it. it's a bit cluttered but the style is original and it looks, well, scary... now give it some beefy engine sections to push it along! lol thanks. the back side is smaller on purpose, its purpose is to smash through ...
