Re: Help on creating a shock cannon:

Besides, the Frosch is a module. Triggers don't work with those.

sleeper rig

Cain and his Daddy-O were not so different. Each possessed a connection with computers and all the exuberant social graces of a bivalve. It was a wonder how the old man had managed to breed, let alone pass his major malfunctions down to his youngest child so completely. The main difference between t...

Re: Modifying explosions

I haven't played in an eternity, but I remember explosions and sound effects being impossible to modify. Sorry to burst your bubble, but maybe you can try making bullets.

Re: GUI_Maintitle

I concur with -Desert-, it might be that.

With all of these weird-ass fatal errors cropping up over the past year or so, I'm surprised I haven't encountered any of them myself. That should change once I upgrade to 8.1, though...

Re: Books

I've been putting off Mistborn since I'm not overly fond of genre fiction in general, but anyways I'm busy with another doorstopper. Over the past few weeks I managed to forge a quarter way through DFW's Infinite Jest. It's ostensibly about the life of a junior tennis prodigy named Hal Incandenza an...

Re: Weapon for the zombie apocalypse?

Dude.

If he had like a BigDog, or an F-150, or the Flextrek Whipsnake, he could totally carry all of the guns.

He wants to have all of the guns. Let him carry all of the guns. All of our holo sights and plastic MAGPUL tumors. Ever.

Re: Sleeper PC Case

I'm looking at a Lian Li for my next build, especially the horizontals. Their cases look austere and featureless, which is actually just the way I like it. I puke a little in my mouth when I see childish, LED-infested pretend jet fighter cases and their entourage of gaudy angular keyboards, shitty f...

Re: Min/Max target size?

Alright, I tried. The script controlling that feature had been commented out, by an unsober Kaelis mayhaps, so I tentatively un-commented it and gave her a whirl. It changed nothing so overt as to spit in my face a crash or an error, and the poor "Hestia" still fired its wee blaster at the...

I like these ships, they are pretty good and finally look depthed. A little on the small side, but I suppose that's the style.

Re: The Workshop

Ah, well, he did shade it. I see three shades of hull blue, so not a bad start. Still, it's a dark ship and there's not a lot of contrast besides the glowballs, so you might rectify that. An immediate solution that comes to mind is to tear out the more frivolously-positioned glowballs and replace th...

C) K I L L S A B E R Even with this new information, she's still the one we know most about. With the assistance of Rider and the drones, we can capitalize on her and Galahad's known habits for some seriously underhanded tactics. For instance, we know Saber's a tad hot-blooded, to the point where sh...

Re: WAR FOR THE GRAIL - Part 1: World Of Origin

E: Firstly, some technology. Given Assassin's sikkkkkkmad skills with security systems and so on, let's have her wire up the salvaged mechs into a peppy squadron of drone-mechs. We'll use them to help put pressure on whoever we end up invading, ideally restricting their movements and giving us a bet...
