Re: Pre-Engagement Strategizing and Intel Collation
Actually, Orelius... I would prefer it that you did not make the ships. I'm basing this off what I've seen of your work, and compared to Droid's work, well... it doesn't come close. Lo siento. On the other hand, the second part of your post is correct. We DO need some colonies/miners. though it's my...

Re: Pre-Engagement Strategizing and Intel Collation
FE sounds like a good opener, should leave us with an economic advantage if they're not decisive enough to punish us for it. Its greedy but if they play conservative it'll pay off. Regardless of how much better their command structure is, do you think they would abandon expanding and come kill us r...

Re: The Kralas SpaceYard
Alright... 1) to remove the blocky glows, go to the options menu, click the color selector until it shows "ship glow" (I think) and set it to black. 2) For god's sake, go grab HorseMonster's detailed weapon set. 3) The ship isn't bad in and of itself, but it looks REALLY flat. go try some ...

Re: Da_Dooley's ships 'n' stuff
Damn, it's been like... 3 months... Well, time to bring some life back into here, and prove that I haven't given up on BSF. Also, contrary to my previous statement, all new ships will be posted progressively. It's easier that way. These are some ships I made during my brief obsession with Russia ('c...

Re: lone wolf creations
It's actually not that bad. It has a clearly defined shape, no overly stretched sections, and *gasp* no weapon spam! Actually, no weapons at all, which I would keep with atm. It looks really nice, though you should really flesh the design out more. Add some Greeblies. OTT, this is a really nice ship.

Nah, don't clam up completely. Just say something if it is constructive. If not, keep it to yourself.

Actually, Snopel, most of us have been around a bit longer than you. We know what we are talking about (most of the time :P). If someone like Anna or Arcalane or any other long-standing members comment on your ships, then by god listen to them. Now, as not to derail this thread: Pyrophage, your firs...

Do we have any set date for the MetaTrial to begin, or are we just playing it by ear for now?

CnC: Win
Machine's kewlness for referencing CnC: LEVEL UP!
I think that these would be pretty sweet, and if you make them with the same level of awesomeness as you did the bioships, then these should be pretty well received.
By me, at least

I could go with a governor position, as compared to some of the others, i would be a horrendous shipbuilder.

Without further ado, I present the Incorruptible -class Gunboat. SMscreen010.png Despite it's ugly looks, it is a highly survivable craft that can easily unload into enemies with it's autocannons. When you say "public design rules", I assume you refer to the metagame building rules v3.14?

Re: Me working on my shipbuilding skills, what do you think?
Let me just point out that while my early ships were fairly poor by today's standards, even back when I was a "noob" I was considered a good shipbuilding, so there. I swear to you, he speaks the truth. I looked back in the "old pages," and he was pretty badass (for the sta...
