Patches' New Ships

I'm not completely sure if these ships are up to scratch, but it does feel right that I should post my first public ships now, after stockpiling the entire Limited Realism set and practically spending hours on experimentation. I haven't got any triggered ships as of yet, but here goes my first desig...

Re: Tired...

Thnaks for the info - i can now get started. One last thing however - is there a Shipmaker trigger function that can "fold" ship arcs onto the main body when not in battle? I know it sounds strange, but basically what im looking for is that say the ship has 3 bodes - a main, massive-death ...

Re: Tired...

Thanks... anyone else?

And also, is there a quick way of adding bitmaps onto the section list without going through the same process over and over, or is there a way to combine them all into a .ini file?

Re: Tired...

Thanks for the banter guys, but this thread is just me asking for your sprite/section packs that you like to use. I'm sorta aiming to blend curves and lines together for my latest project, and I need some good/classic packs to get me started. Latest shiny sections as well?

Re: Abductroids Feedback

Very classic, retro feel, not unlike Space Invaders. Smooth gameplay, but sometimes too much speed can put the ship into skids. Needs a few more levels and bosses and a sequel to complete it. Music is befitting. The above faults I advocate also.

Tired...

With all the new, upbeat custom sections and packs that are whizzing about at indescribable speeds (quite literally, in fact) it is quite hard to resettle into the new community. Could someone please provide of some of their recommended sprite packs? I require new tastes for my new projects. Thanks ...

Re: Retsof's Ships

Nice colour scheme on the new armament, but somehow the blurred m-guns on the white engine parts look outta place... but in any case wise choices :)

Re: Random acts of violence with shipmaker

Another little observation... the Vorcha's bowsection is somewhat blurred. Reckon it might be because of improper angles?

Re: MP Gaming

Minecraft Pros: A no-holds barred server-crammed world of creation. Even if there's TNT in it you can't make it explode in Multiplayer. Gets to be addictive. Can be modded. Server maker also available. Cons: You have to buy the game (though it doesn't cost much) to play the latest version. Griefers ...

Rank bastardry all over again - it's no wonder the common users have left in their droves.

Re: Reviving the Community

Since returning from an almost non-noticeable absence from the forums, I come back to find almost half the community demolished. The hardcore veterans (you know who I mean) have preserved the core of BSF, but not the glory they'd once had. So. What's really happened?

Dunno 'bout you guys, but I reckon Terry's new ship looks kinda awkward at the rear... just my observations.

An epic song here, one of my favourites:

The part at the end of the bridge just... explodes

Austen SMG (Mk I/II)

Like the Thompson SMG and the Sten put together, this Australian-made SMG was made obsolete after the war because it could never compete with the reliability of the Owen gun.
