I struggle with getting the shape of the ship I want onto SM, let alone integrate the weapon systems into the ship to make it look good.

Yours practically is 100% what I want out of my ship designs. Unfortunately, they come out haphazardly wrong...

the off-yellow colors denote ablative armor sections. The green ones are team colors. I could just throw the green sections out and/or underneath like what I do as "superstructure", but I havent found a way to put stripes or team colors besides the doodads. Also, its somewhat confusing whe...

could clump them up in a sort of "beeswarm" style look, so you could techincally get over the "head-fighter go boom, everyone go boom" problem.
