Update 5 with a meta-cruiser hull.

I see a lot of activity for other ship designers yet none for me. I guess my work must have pissed off someone then. Apologies.

Was my request for comment and criticism going against the norm or did I just walk myself into the "ignore" bin?

very good on the glows. Central glows though look a bit... off. Maybe its the fact that the SW-style sprite is showing underneath the glow. Tried a flat sprite for the glow base for the center glows?

Also might wanna turn your gradient off and glow to black if you haven't already. Both of those are under options in the main game menu. The boxes are due to the ship glow being on. nice ships. Bit stick-ish, but good. Could try for more angles for some of the straightish ship. Could also work on your color depthing.

You can link the 'barrels' to the driver so they all fire the same. The driver settings supersede barrel settings. Deviation can be set to 0, though i think its less realistic if two parallel lines somehow converge that closely. its also unrealistic to have a dual-cannon turret fire like its either...

What about deviation. Turretted weapons have their own deviation, which make dual, tri, and quad cannons look weird with all the shots deviating their different ways.

Is there a way to avoid this?

RAM upgrade would be in your near future if you want to play BSF (and later, play around with the Ship Maker for your own creations).

In the meantime, making your OS leaner by closing background processes could help.
