You've probably got the game installed somewhere where you don't have write access. Try turning UAC off or installing the game to c:\users\<username>

That's usually the "you don't have write access to your BSF folder error" which means you need to install it somewhere where you do, like C:\<username>

It's still my personal website that I use to host my things so I plan to keep it running.

Editing the bfconfig.ini file so that it goes from this:

[Sound]
MusicVol = 40

To this:

[Sound]
MusicVol = 0

Should also disable all the music, which should get you around the error.

Just tried updating phpbb to see if it'll help.

It's all fixed now. Snafu with redirects for phpBB2->phpBB3.

That probably means you have an old version of directx

Yea I'm just waiting for STARSTRUCK or Cycerin to give me some sprites clearly my own attempts aren't very good.

Take your own projects elsewhere. Clearly this has nothing to do with BSF now.

And get your own content while you're at it.

It's that or open up c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\SpaceRoguelike\ and edit the config.ini to say fullscreen=false
