For someone's first posted ships these are fairly respectable looking spaceships. Asymmetry is not particularly common around here because it's a pain in the ass to do, but if you want to do that then the best of luck to you, it's certainly an uncommon style choice that'll make your spaceships stand...

The lines are space lines, all science fiction maps have them. They probably have something to do with space travel. The circles represent volumes of space controlled by a given civilization. If you look back over other peoples threads you should be able to find plenty of inspiration and examples of ways to make cool spaceships and spaceship related projects to help you improve your own spaceshippery.

You should probably update your HorseMonster_Rocketbits too because those engine sprites look as old as all hell.

I like the shape of the spaceships, mostly, but I don't like the blue window lights.
