Yeah, I couldn't find a way to make the front work as well as the back did. This one is the same, except for a set of "stonger" engines, and beefier ablative armor.

It seems that altering the range on deflectors doesn't do anything.
What i was trying to accomplish was have the deflector(parented & alphaed) onto the top of an alphaed shield, so that the deflector could only affect the shield. Is there any way of doing this?

I deleted the transparents on the Karagiozi; are there any real tips on improvement or can I only improve from just making more ships? The glows on the first ship are obnoxious, you should probably tone them down or get rid of a few. The color schemes for both are a little too bland for my taste, although I don't think theres anything wrong with the color combination you chose.
