Also, if you look closely about halfway down the nose, you can see the tip of one of the spars just barely poking out when it closes.

I disagree. It isn't perfect, but the "larger one" is definitely not a bad ship. You just need to improve in the area of making what you do look more like you did it on purpose, so those sidepods, for example (assuming you really want them like that), should be accented by putting them out...

For one thing I think someone is shortly going to say that you should crop your screenshots before posting them so we don't have to be distracted by the whole BSF GUI, but in a much meaner way.

It's nice to see people still making decent ships with the traditional sprites. It seems like everyone here lately has just been making SW ship after SW ship.

Also if you can try re-mirroring right before saving it. This sometimes works for some reason.

I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!
Gray + stock green still counts as monochrome, right?

You can insult it, you can call me stupid for trying to do this, but you can't escape the fact that for what it is it's not actually that bad.

I'm thinking this should be addressed in one of the BSF noob guides, seeing how often people ask about it.

Click the weapon and press "w" to set it to the same depth as its parent section, i.e. sections in front of that will be above it. If you press it again the weapon will go back to the top.

My only feedback is w00t, you used by radial background! Thx.

But yeah, the ships are pretty good. A bit on the monochromatic side.

You can't set turning or arc to 0 because it won't fire for some reason.

Yeah, if you actually consider the scale of the stock ships you realize that a realistically-sized fighter would be like 8 pixels long. :/

Just in case you didn't know, Kuat is a planet in the Star Wars backstory universe, hence the previous post.

*Edit* Had a feeling I'd get ninja'd. Make that the post before the last one. :D

In the BSF root folder are some subdirectories like "SMscreenshots" and "SMFrames". Usually when you take a static screenshot in ShipMaker it ends up in SMscreenshots, when you take a series of screenshots they end up in SMFrames, and when you take a screenshot in the game itself...

I think the BSF world is a largely war-ridden one, as this best fits the overall idea of the game, so there are some civilian ships around, but pretty much anything anyone puts in space needs to be armed for its own protection.
