Nice weapons placement and feel to the ships; conduits have any relation to the weapons grid?

I suppose the carrier deploys the bombers, no?

Considering that, what exactly is a good technique for dealing with too much detail, say for newer ships?

Wow! This is really great, blackhart!

The ships have a uniform but unique design to each of them, the green is good (people have already pointed it out, but it doesn't hurt), and the colour placement is pretty darn good.

Btw, is the genobee the successor or predecessor to to the Huetep?

Alright, the draft for the anti-missile frigate is done. Right now it's basically cannibalized flight pods and a scaled down reactor. Less weapons in character - lower power output and storage space - and for balance reasons.

I like the shape of the Eredictor; the autocannons underneath the plates clean up the shape a little bit, but the missile pods still jut out a little. Depth them so they stick out under some kind of overhanging piece maybe. You could probably help with the flat look by changing the values around, so...

Thanks Arcalane; the problem's fixed, I just swapped em out for normal beamers in the same color. Next project will be a ship of smaller class, a point defense frigate of sorts that's packed with missiles. I like missiles, you can probably tell. Regarding your circles on your transport/colony ships, could you stretch/squish the offending circles to give depth illusion or am I just talking nonsense?

Shields are great, but are they a little opaque or is it just me?

I think it's not finished yet. And I think he said that he'll make it thicker. And right now, it looks like a Battlestar crossed with one of those human ships from B5, and a ship from Star Wars, that ship with a spindly walkway holding the front and back halves together.
