...still missing something... As always, comments and criticisms welcome. Some sort of visible engine. Being asymmetric, your ships can look like a jumble of scrap, but if there were some sort of visible engine nacelle or something, you can at least tell what direction is forwards on the ship. In m...

That looks like it should be flying the other way around. maybe add a bit more taper to the back so it's a bit more teardrop shaped?

Aside from the inherent ridiculousness of a giant space crossbow, the only real thing I have to ask is why you called it Gungnir. Granted, crossbows are too new a weapon for there to have been any myths involving them, it still seems a bit odd to be naming a crossbow looking ship after a spear.

The shape is pretty good, but it looks fairly flat. try changing the color of the sections along the centerline to something else, even a different shade of grey would help. Maybe lower the nose and tail sections to be below what their attached to as well. when I look at your ship it seems bent up a...

Things can shear when they have a force acting against them. Forces like gravity, or air friction. Many a space-only probe, satellite, or space station currently existing has parts that are just as "flimsy" and that would not survive in atmospheric conditions. Its not truly possible to &q...

I really don't like how the tac-nuke launchers hang off the side a bit. Also, you seem to have some mirroring errors along the center line. Unless you meant for those sections to halfway overlap like that.

It would look better if you layered the colors better. at first it looks like it's layered red > grey > yellow, but some of the grey parts overlap the red. It really ruins the illusion of depth. Edit: Having looked at it again, I agree with the people who say the rear main turret should be flipped t...

That last ship looks like it should fly the other way round. Also you hang mini Missile pods the exact same way I do. They just don't look right sitting on top.

The way the forward section attaches to the blue circular section seems really flimsy. I think it would look better to have a collar or something extending over the front so it doesn't look quite so flat. and personally, I would put something around the blue section and and try to get it to rotate s...

Ah right forgot about that, now I remember why I haven't touched my own retracting armor ships for a while.

A WIP ship that won't be completed until triggers are non-buggy, the Laudatus. Shields open to reveal powerful broadside torpedo and blaster bays. What exactly isn't working for you? if those plates just need to slide back then it's entirely possible right now. although I suppose getting the weapon...

Recoiling Cannon

Since superweapons seem to be the new cool thing to make, here's mine: http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa238/Aederrex/BFscreen012.jpg Armored sections closed http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa238/Aederrex/BFscreen013.jpg And Open. I seem to have a thing for moving armor. It's not all that big,...

Ditto on that. I tend to think of demeter drones as fighter size, and anything you could realistically build are frigate sized minimum. Of course that's probably because of all the time I spent playing Eve Online.

I appreciate the upload. In sandbox, I can't get that ship to fire, though, so I haven't been able to recreate the blast you have, by either piloting yours or remaking something of my own similar. How did you get it to fire? Otherwise, it doesn't work for me. And I redid the ship, and have the .sb4...

For thrusters: I tried that. You attach the thrusters to a lower piece, and then stack something on top them both, like the weapons, right? I can't seem to get that to work for me with the thrusters. No matter what the host piece for the thrusters Depth is, the thruster is always on top. Did I miss...
