I'd say flip the front wings, or remove them entirely and make it look like a Valkyrie(40K)
But remember to put 2 massive guns under those back wings.

That's just hideous, you know I always supported your style; but that thing really doesn't fit it. It has ugly stretchy sections, high/low-detail parts(No-detail at some points.) The lines that are visible on your sections look like they were just necesary to make the general shape work. And the sha...

Actually, the new ones look slightly lighter and less cool then the ones he converted by hand.(The mechas right?)

Re: The Vaisravana and the Kural Raiders

The beast is silent but cooperative in battle, stoically plundering colonies as long as a minimum of canned food and fresh water is offered at its altar every day. Plagiarism Anyone? Just kidding, but don't deny it and give the good man some respect. Great ships, new style is just plain awesome, re...

(Slowly, comes out of the shadows.) I guess, I own Kaelis an apology. The sections are great, and enhance BSF to the extreme, great work mate. To join the conversation several posts above: The Mecha and Generic sections both look better then the stock ones because they were meant to fill a certain n...

You mean the 3 basic colours? You can modify those in BSF itself. If you change them in SM they will just change back.

You could just change the depth of the section, sections always spawn bellow their parent.
This topic makes one thing clear: THE TUTORIAL SHOULD BE MANDATORY!

Maybe I should stop this thread, make a fleet, then post the fleet, only my stories kinda suck  Then make it a WiP(Work In Progress) fleet topic. Ship looks way better now. I've never been a fan of the twin blaster but it looks good. I don't really like the engine sprites. Still they look bet...

I like the new ship, it has the same realistic feel all the others have aswell. Thing is you have (probably) never used an old version, and so you don't know which weapons are old or new. So you are using them both.(Might sound totally random until you look at some of the ships of old shipbuilders.)...

Untill now i wasn't really able to explain what i REALLY wanted to do,so im gonna show you an example of it: http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/966/mokou.gif Much more possible in BSF Don't'cha think ? All I see is a guy being lifted into the sky by a massive crow, while being chased by ass-seeking...

I must say, those are some very nice ships, great section works.(Are those mecha's?)

On the engine part: I'd suggest the biggest engine available in the steampunk pack.
On a sidenote: What's wrong with Dutch parents these days.........

Here by I welkom you.(that's not a Typo.)

yes/no on the nose cannons? How are the engines? The missiles on the spine are mostly placeholder, I'll probably take out at least one more on each side. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y201/JWA/battlestar1g3.png Why not make the back open up and reveal a massive cannon? Otherwise nose cannons loo...

Either take a ship and do JWA's damage thingie, or choose parts that are obious and make a ship around them, showing most of their texture.

I like it Looks like it was made for the gun. And all other things are just there to support it.
My only critic would be that the gun should be slightly darker.

If I had to make up some Critics I'd say it has too much doodads. And there are some points that need inprovement, the twin stoc setions below the main guns, the 'wings' and the layering doesn't really work out.(all sections seem on the same level.) Great ship though, but The colours don't fit in wi...
