Parenting problems (in the "arms")
Color scheme obviously
Thin parts connecting "arms"
Ugly out of place overlapping pieces (I think they are the 4's?)
Very little if any layering, not very dimensional
Ugly ship outline
No weapons!

I kind of see what he is getting at, if he destroys the 26's then whatever is connecting inwards of it will be destroyed.

It looks like crap with the weapons randomly thrown onto the front of the ship.

Fix the aegis 26's (remove them or something)
Remove the skinny pieces that will blow up major parts of the ship if destroyed.
Cut down on weapons spam ZOMG

Maybe he is going for realism, not aestetics. In any case, they are good for new people so keep going. On the frigate, I would delete the aegis on the section 23 though. That gives me a headache having aegis inside a ship. not to mention how if the core is placed entirely inside of the aegis'ed par...

That is entirely true, although the point defense system is weak non the less.

I downloaded your ships and I have one thing to say: Their point defense systems suck. Aralonia's Bismarck D can destroy it in seconds. Also, the thin points connecting the 2 arms are easily destroyed.

What type of AI is this ship? The railguns are sticking away from the center of the x axis of the ship, therefore if they still have a 45 degree angle they will be kind of useless. The weapons are kind of cluttered.

This is the Victory Class Mk1 Corvette.

In this ship I used color layering to give it depth, and I tried not to weapon spam it.
